LOCAL SCHOOLS TO RECEIVE FUNDING FOR SCHOOL UPGRADES AND NEW EQUIPMENT
Local schools in Dobell will benefit from a share of $32 million in grants to upgrade infrastructure and equipment.
The following local schools will benefit from funding:
- Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College
- The Entrance Public School
- Wamberal Public School
- Toukley Public School
- Hopetown School
- TLK Youth College
- Wyong Christian Community School
The funding is part of a $250 million commitment to improve school infrastructure.
All schools across the country were invited to apply for the funding and projects were assessed by the Department of Education and selected based on need.
Schools were able to apply for grants of up to $25,000 to support much needed improvements to facilities and learning environments.
The Albanese Labor Government is delivering on our promise to invest in our schools and there is more to come.
Our local schools deserve infrastructure and quality equipment to help students achieve their best.
The Albanese Government is investing in a better and fairer education system, and this is good news for our local schools with more to come.
This is a great outcome and I’m pleased that we can deliver this funding to much-needed projects for our local schools.
