COST OF LIVING RELIEF DELIVERED
The Albanese Labor Government has been working hard to deliver on promises made at the last election. This July, some of our most significant new policies take effect.
This includes a cheaper child care package, changes to paid parental leave, and increases to Medicare rebates.
From 1 July, we will see many of our key promises become reality – like changes to Paid Parental Leave, which will give families greater flexibility when they need it most.
Child care will now be cheaper for 96% of families, with no family being worse off.
However, these are not the only measures coming into effect from July.
Labor promised to establish a National Anti-Corruption Commission, and we have delivered. From July, the National Anti-Corruption Commission will be opening its doors.
The N.A.C.C will be critical in restoring integrity and trust in Government, and I am proud to be part of a Government that has acted in the public interest.
Labor is also delivering on its commitments to fix aged care. We’re putting nurses back into nursing homes to restore dignity to residents in aged care.
