CHEAPER MEDICINES FOR DOBELL
The Albanese Government has delivered on our key election promise to make medicines cheaper for Australians.
On 1 January, we reduced the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) co-payment for the first time in its 75-year history.
In just the first two months, Dobell has saved more than $184,321.15 on PBS medicines.
More than 16,812 in Dobell have been cheaper.
If you’re taking one medication a month, you could save as much as $150 every year, and a family taking two or three medications could save as much as $300-$450 a year.
We are helping to make medicines more affordable and accessible and take the sting out of the rising cost of living for the Central Coast.
The Albanese Government’s cheaper medicines policy is changing lives and improving household budgets.
Cheaper medicine is not just putting money back into patients’ pockets, it's also good for Australia's health.
