Central Coast Veterans’ and Families’ Hub to Open This Month
Federal MP and Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Emma McBride has today welcomed news that the Central Coast Veterans’ and Families’ Hub is set to open this month in Wyong.
The new hub on Hely Street Wyong will see the nearly 8,000 veterans and their families on the Central Coast access improved specialist services closer to home.
The Albanese Government has invested $1.7 million in funding through the Government’s Veteran Wellbeing Grants One-Off Program to establish the Hub.
The Hub will offer a range of tailored services to assist with transition, employment, social connection, and advocacy services, along with mental and physical health support for veterans’ and families.
The expansion of the Veterans’ and Families’ Hubs network on the Central Coast is part of the Government’s $46.7 million commitment to deliver eight new Veterans’ and Families’ Hubs across the country.
This commitment also includes the continuation of work underway to establish 10 new Veterans’ and Families Hubs under the Albanese Labor Government.
