GRANTS TO BOOST TOURISM IN DOBELL THROUGH CARAVAN PARKS

The Albanese Labor Government is backing tourism in Dobell with grant funding to support facilities and amenities at Two Shores Holiday Village and Shelly Beach Holiday Park.

The Caravan Park Grants program – which is providing $10 million for 111 park upgrade projects across Australia – is part of Government’s $48 million package of new funding to support Australia’s tourism and travel businesses and workers in their continued recovery from the impacts of the pandemic.

$100,000 will support the construction of two new three-bedroom units at Shelly Beach Holiday Park to replace older cabins.

At Two Shores Holiday Village, $100,000 will go towards the refurbishment of ten cabins to make them more accessible while enabling new bathrooms, kitchens, planter boxes, selling fans and gas stoves.

The funding will provide a boost to local tourism attracting more visitors and encouraging them to stay longer by providing improved visitor experiences.
